Caps: hardware guarantee that every code is readable
Case from the Beverages industry. If the camera detects a misprint or a smudged code, the reject mechanism instantly removes the cap from the conveyor.

Challenge
Full traceability of every unit produced. The customer needed more than printing a code on the cap: hardware had to guarantee that every DataMatrix is readable and recorded in the database.
Solution
We designed a full-cycle marking station. The code is applied by laser with high contrast. An industrial camera right after the marking point verifies every code and grades print quality.
Result
If the camera sees a missing or smeared code, the rejector removes the cap from the conveyor at once. Only valid codes reach the database and 1C — a batch will not be turned back because of an unreadable one.
