Pipeline marking: steel tape tags

No equivalent on the market. Tape unwinding engraving automatic cutting. Designed in our own workshop.

Case

A pipeline marking machine designed from scratch

The customer got a fully automated machine with no equivalent on the market. It pulls data from the database, engraves it on steel tape and cuts the finished tag to the millimetre.

Engraving on steel tape

Case

Industrial pipe marking

The marking lasts as long as the part itself and needs no consumables.

Line components

What the machine is built from

Fibre laser for metal

Deep engraving on stainless tape is done by a fibre laser — the same laser used for metal and painted surfaces. Source life up to 100,000 hours.

Unwinding, feeding, cutting

The system unwinds a coil of rigid stainless steel tape, feeds it and guillotine-cuts tags to length to the millimetre.

Data from the database

The machine pulls variable data from the database and engraves it on the tape — the operator does not type text for each tag.

Industrial controller

The logic runs on an industrial JCZ controller: the cycle repeats without human involvement.

Why us

We design non-standard machines from scratch

There is no serial machine for this on the market — a normal situation for us. Our own engineering department and workshop let us design a machine from scratch instead of settling for a compromise.

Our own workshop

We make mounts and non-standard assemblies ourselves — no waiting for a supplier and no bending your line to fit an off-the-shelf solution.

Own software

PPKLink and PPKVision are ours. 1C integration needs no outside developers.

One contractor

Design, supply, installation, commissioning and shift training in one pair of hands — no passing the buck.

FAQ

Answers before the call

Where does the machine get the tag data?

From the database: variable data is inserted automatically and the operator does not type text for each tag. The cycle logic runs on an industrial JCZ controller.

What tape material and what tag length?

Rigid stainless steel tape; the tag length is set, and the guillotine cuts to the millimetre.

How is this different from Chestny Znak marking?

A different job. Chestny Znak is about goods and packaging, while a tag lives on the pipe as long as the pipe does. That is why we engrave deep into metal.

Why a fibre laser rather than another method?

It works on metal and painted surfaces, needs no consumables and has a source life of up to 100,000 hours — the decisive argument for a machine that runs shift after shift.

Station quote

Let us scope your line

Only name and phone are required — an engineer takes it from there. You get the station layout, equipment list and price range. Free, within a working day.

Line and equipment already in place, only software needed? PPKLink is sold separately

Want a ballpark figure first? What a station costs

An engineer answers, not a sales rep: one short call is usually enough to scope the station.
We will send the station scope and the order of figures by email.
