Marking sealants and tubes: coding on round packaging
The code is applied while the item moves, the camera reads it off the cylindrical surface and defects leave the belt on their own. Output speed stays at its normal rate.

What goes onto a sealant line
Marking a cylinder on the move
The code is applied in motion, without pausing output. Rigs matched to the tube diameter and the unit position above the conveyor are made in our own workshop — for your line, not for a stock bracket.
A camera that keeps up
The vision system reads the DataMatrix off a cylindrical surface while the belt is running. Every tube is checked, not a sample from the batch.
Rejection without an operator
A tube with an unread or smeared code leaves the conveyor automatically. Every case is written to the event log, which is what you use to trace the cause afterwards.
Exchange with 1C
Data on applied and rejected codes goes to 1C via PPKLink. Reporting to Chestny Znak is done either by the accounting system or by the line itself — decided at the project stage.
Why us
Why a round tube is a task of its own
On a cylinder the camera sees the code at an angle, and as the tube rotates the code leaves the frame. What matters here is not laser power but the marking-camera-rejection chain, tuned to the packaging diameter.
Our own workshop
We make mounts and non-standard assemblies ourselves — no waiting for a supplier and no bending your line to fit an off-the-shelf solution.
Own software
PPKLink and PPKVision are ours. 1C integration needs no outside developers.
One contractor
Design, supply, installation, commissioning and shift training in one pair of hands — no passing the buck.

FAQ
Answers before the call
Will the code smear on a round tube?
It will not smear. The laser changes the material itself; there is no ink layer on top and nothing to rub off. On the sealant line the camera reads the DataMatrix straight off a round tube in motion.
Does the line have to stop for the code to be applied?
No. The code is applied on the fly, in flow — in the sealant case output speed was kept at its normal rate.
What happens to a tube if the code did not print?
The camera checks every code right after marking. If it is under-printed or smeared, the tube leaves the flow automatically, with no operator, and the case goes into the log.
Are sealants not just household chemicals?
The product group is shared, but the line is different: a round tube, its own pace and its own feed. So the station is built differently than for bottles and soap — the household chemicals page is here.
Will data on applied codes reach our 1C?
Yes, that is part of the station. PPKLink passes data on applied, verified and rejected codes to 1C; in most cases no change to your configuration is required.
